A new Preparatory class is open on Jan. 15, 2018 for the children of 4 – 6 years of age.
The class will have an EAL support and will have its main focus on the English language development alongside with all the other pre-school areas, such as Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World, Arts, PE and Social-Emotional Development, etc.
The ESS’s Prep Class nurtures each child’s natural curiosity within a structured framework providing Pre-school children with an early introduction to school life. Through a balance of formal teaching and child-initiated play, we support children with phonics, letters, counting and other fundamental skills such as concentrating and contributing. Weekly science activities also offer children with exploration and critical thinking that will help your child understand more about the word around them and develop a true love for learning.
